2703APX CPU for Model 2700 Automation Controllers
The all new 2703APX is available as an easily downloadable firmware upgrade for 2703AP controllers. Using the firmware upgrade and Quickstep 3.0, you get:
50% more memory
4 times more user flags (NOW 128)
4000 more registers (NOW 8500)
double the motion axes(NOW 32)
If you currently own a Model 2700 controller that has a 2703AP CPU, you can upgrade without purchasing or installing any new hardware. A Multi-Pack software utility enables you to upgrade multiple controllers via a single computer over serial connection. Multi-Pack is available in versions to upgrade 5, 10, 25 or 25+ controllers.
