Web Enabled Control
Blue Fusion programmable automation controllers
use patented CTC technology to serve up interactive HMI
projects as web pages to the world wide web from a server
embedded in the controller. These HMI projects display parameters for
the I/O, motion and other devices that the Blue Fusion controls.
Process parameters can be displayed and edited by calling up the web
page via a standard browser.1 Security strategies may be invoked to ensure only authorized access.
The HMI projects are created on a PC using CT HMI Builder, CTC’s graphical development software. Once the project has been created, CT HMI Builder converts the project to a CT webHMI project and exports it directly to the server on the Blue Fusion controller.
1 Because the web pages are Java-based, Java Virtual Machine (JVM) must be installed on the client accessing the web pages. JVM is a widely accepted and installed application that is available as a free download from Oracle.
