Web Enabled Control

web enabled control diagram
Blue Fusion programmable automation controllers use patented CTC technology to serve up interactive HMI projects as web pages to the world wide web from a server embedded in the controller. These HMI projects display parameters for the I/O, motion and other devices that the Blue Fusion controls. Process parameters can be displayed and edited by calling up the web page via a standard browser.1 Security strategies may be invoked to ensure only authorized access.

The HMI projects are created on a PC using CT HMI Builder, CTC’s graphical development software. Once the project has been created, CT HMI Builder converts the project to a CT webHMI project and exports it directly to the server on the Blue Fusion controller.

1 Because the web pages are Java-based, Java Virtual Machine (JVM) must be installed on the client accessing the web pages. JVM is a widely accepted and installed application that is available as a free download from Oracle.
