CTC Shipping Policy

When will my order be processed?

Most online orders placed before 12 PM Eastern Standard Time on a business day will be processed and shipped the same day. Orders received after 12 PM of a business day will be processed on the next business day. You will receive email notification when the order is shipped. If the package is shipped by UPS or FedEx, you will receive a tracking number in the email that will enable you to trace the package's transport.

In the unlikely event that items in your order are backordered, we will ship you the items that are in stock at the time the order is placed. You will be informed of any backorders via email after the order is placed, along with an estimated shipping date for the backordered item. Backorders do not get charged until they are shipped. They do not incur any additional shipping costs beyond what would be charged if the order was processed as a single shipment.

How will my order be shipped?

UPS is the default shipping service for all CTC orders. Customers who do not wish to use UPS may request a different shipper by placing their order over the phone at 888-818-2600. All online orders use UPS for shipping.

Customers may specify any one of several UPS shipping services when placing an online order, including overnight delivery where available.

CTC ships to Canada and other countries and US territories, except where prohibited by law. Shipment methods vary according to the final destination and may be chosen on the website at the time the order is placed. CTC regrets that it cannot ship to post office boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

How much will shipping cost?

Charges for shipments based on UPS's current rates as posted on www.ups.com. CTC's primary shipper, UPS, calculates shipping charges based upon:

  • the weight of the package
  • the geographical zone it is transported to
  • the transit time requested
  • the package's monetary value. All shipments are insured at full value.

Shipping charges are clearly displayed as a line item in your shopping cart at the time the order is placed.
